Oaxaca (A Guide Book by Bruce Whipperman, Moon Handbooks) review
When I decided to travel to Mexico in the winter of 2006, I looked at several guide books for Mexico, before deciding on Oaxaca. Considering the type of travel I like to do (discover as much for myself as I can based on minimal information), I felt there where two travel guide book publishers to consider: Lonely Planet and Moon Handbooks. Lonely Planet has great information and great maps. I find that they make their guide books too thick with their opinions - which quite honestly I could do without. Some people like that and that’s fine. I’ve used their guide books in the past and probably will in the future.
